SPEAKER
Victoria Falls
Harry Fegley, World traveler and City Park Docent for several different kinds of animals, decided to visit some in their natural habitat, so off to Botswana went he and his wife, Linda. While there they saw Victoria Falls.
They also visited Chobe Savana National Park; saw elephants, hippos, rhinoceros, crocodiles, Cape buffaloes and many other forms of wildlife, including various species of birds, but did not get a close look at any lions. He also took an ill-fated ride on a train that ran off the tracks and had some great adventures before he got home. (For a fascinating overview of the Rovos railroad, go to http://rovos.com )

DRAWING
We had a drawing. For only 50 cents you can buy a ticket from Dr. Bob and take a chance at winning. Today's challenge was to draw the 5 of Clubs and win $140! Nick Picucci and Pat Bush both tried for the big money and were unsuccessful. Joe Marci was wearing his name tag but had no luck. Next week's pot = 150 bucks.

T H E O P T I M I S T C R E E D — Promise Yourself . . . To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for
anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
