It’s Sweethearts to Breakfast! Different time, different location as our regular meeting is replaced by a celebratory breakfast with our loved ones.
Jon Wachter was running the show at Cafe de France, passing out roses, and looking resplendent in pink. Thanks for taking the lead on this Jon!
Jon started our breakfast off promptly at 7:30 with an invocation that took the form of a poem, called “What is an Optimist?”. All the members and guests were able to order off the menu with many delicious looking (and tasting!) options.
Kaitlyn Morgan, the daughter of proud papa Bill Morgan, brought her guitar and performed some love-themed tunes to entertain us.
Your intrepid GUMS reporter did a handful of interviews of couples who were in attendance and got a little of their history and a lot of their advice.
